Salvation with Power
Don't forget sin, which Jesus became (He asked His Father on the cross "why have You forsaken Me?") so He could die for our sins as the substitutionary penal atonement, so that God the Judge now sees His righteousness and not the sin of those who do call on His name for our salvation by confessing with the mouth Master Jesus, according to the Scriptures, and then He was buried, and then God raised Him from the dead on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, and then He was seen by Peter, the Disciples, over 500 brothers at one time (most of whom were still alive when Paul wrote this formulation that he had also been taught of the gospel to the Corinthian congregation), and then Jesus was seen after that by James and the Apostles and Paul, and believing that He can save us because of this great work of His, that's why we call on His name and confess Him "Lord", which is to say "Master".
All sinners must end up in the Lake of Fire, but God saved from it all we who have trusted Him to save us by His own method! In other words, due to believing 1 Corinthians 15:3-8, we do Romans 10:9a&10:10b, resulting in Romans 10:9b&10:10a!
Salvation through confession results in righteousness as we believe the Resurrection; some other translations change some of that when they say things like "you believe and are justified"; KJV with its better supporting manuscripts says "believe [the Resurrection of Christ] to [gain in] righteousness" or spiritual growth.
He does it. He sticks with us. He makes it happen, and only those who don't really believe the power of His penal substitutionary atonement for us even though they listened to the teaching could ever fall away from that teaching and the Church that taught it, because they weren't ever saved to begin with. Believe God's power to save to the uttermost those who do sincerely believe these things about Him and so call on His name to be saved by confessing - admitting and identifying with - Jesus The Master. Don't reject Him and so fall into the hand of God when He's angry and judges you by your own works to death! Be judged by Christ's work to life, and then also by yours in a lesser way, though not to death for we who have been empowered to life when we confessed and believed. :^D Got it? This is the single most important fact in all of human history and for you.
