Dealing with Evil Thoughts

Does any one else struggle with evil thoughts? Sometimes I have the most blasphemous thoughts come into my mind and I hate them so much. I never used to struggle so much with them before. Idk why I have them now. Why does my mind think of such evil things?

________________MY ANSWER_____________________

Two reasons 1) we are Christians, and Satan, the World and our own flesh attacks us, and 2) because of all the wickedness we see and hear all day. But don't worry - they had wickedness back in the New Testament times, too - heavy, cruel wickedness. We are clean if we belong to Christ. Fill your mind with the good things of Christ's actions and His promises to us. Cleanse your mind by reading the Bible and listening to expository preaching of what the Bible says. Be kind and practice goodness. Stand firm and endure until the end, dear sibling in our same Master and Savior Jesus Christ. He knows our troubles. Ask Him to fill your heart with Himself, and do not indulge yourself in wickedness. If you see an evil thing (even in your entertainment) *know* and point out the evil in it, isolating it as evil, so you don't accept it (even though it's coated with and surrounded by and mixed in with good).

__RESPONSE BY SOMEONE ELSE__

Thank you! I just need this response. I just strugle with a movie that I just watched with my husband. Has beautiful escenarios, but has bad and inmoral things. I just told my husband that I don’t want to continue to watch it. I felt terrible because we are Christian and I know the Holy Spirit gave me conviction and let know that I have to excercise self control that is one of the fruit of the Spirit. Thank
You again. Your answer help me a lot.
