"Doctor Who" Adds Sentimentality and Emotion to Hard Control Devices Attempting to Overcome Love's Usefulness Against Materialistic Stoicism

Given the observation that stoical control is beaten by love, the World has attempted to add pseudo-love through emotion to its hard control devices.  One form of this is Doctor Who.  This popular cultural product has been greatly formalized, and many instances can be observed that indicate that the Doctor is largely a walk by the World up to the line of righteousness, but it does not know love, only materialistic pragmatism and sentimentality.  I have seen it attempting to get what the Church has through its mechanic of adding sentimentality to stoicism to approximate love.
