Christian Chameleons are Shameful and Sick

Don't avoid persecution by being a spiritual chameleon and going out of your way to be accepted by the World, dear Christian.

How do we exhibit this behavior, and what can we do to improve?

At work, no-one even knows you're a Christian, so read your Bible in the break room and sing hymns to yourself.  You don't have to be pushy to be different.  Never smile at the wicked joke, but you don't have to scorn the teller, either.  Just turn away back to your Bible and BE different, always hearing God's voice, taking every thought into captivity, and don't actively try to hide anything.  If they catch you praying, so what?  But be careful if you try to make others see you praying - it *might* be useful at some time, but for the most part, this makes you seem insincere.  Just love God everywhere, and deny anything that raises against Him - don't back down if someone else starts a subject about many gods or many ways to God - you tell them, then, and then you can slip away back to your quiet but open Bible reading in the break room.  :^D  Pray.  Ask God to help you be sincere toward Him in all environments and not to compromise with the World.

"Lord Jesus, the World seems so polite that it lulls me into thinking I shouldn't raise my voice concerning You.  Beat back this insidious lie and let me be sincere with You wherever I'm at with whomever I'm around, and let me be a firm, righteous witness for You!  Please, strengthen me and all Your Church, to Your glory first and also to our great gladness, good Master Jesus.  Thank You.  Thank You.  Amen."
