The World's Anti-Religion of So-Called Good Works

Soup kitchens, education, reformation of young criminals:  these have all been philanthropic trends among the wealthy British of several generations ago, which now exist at one time here in America.  I don't exclude other places or practices, but this is enough of an example to be getting on with.  The World tries to think beautiful thoughts and do these works, even under the guise of Christianity, but those who have confessed Master Jesus and believed the tenets of the gospel (1 Corinthians 15:1-8 and Romans 10:9, 10, 13) are the despised models of these good works, who are despised for believing.  We Christians know that God's enemies won't get a single drop of water in Hell, and now is the only time to give warning about that.  We Christians know that these good works are not closeness with God, but only by confessing and believing according to the Scriptures can we know Him and know that He knows us.  Hell, after all, is separation from God.  The World thinks it is close to God or even that it is God when it shows a bit of kindness, has a pleasant thought or does a so-called good work, though only God is good, and even Christians can only have righteous behavior.

God causes His Christians to do good works; He is the cause of them.  He cannot be caused by doing good works.  Such a religion that proposes good works without Christ's death for our sins and His burial, Resurrection, subsequent witness and our call on His name by verbally confessing Master Jesus is another gospel and an anti-religion.
