Comparing Creation with Evolution
Creation is evidenced by observation of the objects of Creation, and not by the scientifically repeatable, testable observations of the action of Creation, because Creation is no longer occurring. Like with the Evolutionist, the Creationist would have to go to when and where it happens in order to even plausibly have the opportunity to perform repeatable and falsifiable tests on the actions that are conjectured to cause the things we do observe.
The Evolutionist could use the present moment to test the conjectures about actions that are supposed to cause observations, as well as how those observations are fitted together by other actions into the greater action called “Evolution”. The Creationist does not have the opportunity to test the action of Creation, because no more creation by God is happening since the time that we are told that God rested.
In the end, it's like Kent Hovind said: We admit ours is a religion. We employ methods to trust God's Word, including the scientific testing of observations that fit in with the non-scientifically testable overview, but the method of hearing His voice when He calls is not open to everyone, because He does not call those He did not justly, goodly - sovereignly - choose to call. God has, however, completely demonstrated Himself on the Earth by His Word - Master Jesus Christ - to that sample of humanity on Earth at that time who did look away from even His resurrection and the resurrections of many people at that time in Jerusalem, and He proved the reality of origins (and more!) to that sample of secular and unsaved humanity at that time (saved humanity can simply believe His Word concerning origins and more). If you do hear His voice today, do not harden your heart against Him.
