Is the meaning of belief in Christ, redemption, forgiveness and unconditional love, according to a modern Christian-movie paradigm?  Those things surely come out of belief and confession of Master Jesus Christ to salvation, after which God's Holy Spirit raises us to new life, where these things are found, like He raised Christ from the dead.  But there is an ugly side to preaching that belief means these things instead of belief being part of what we must do to be saved.  The World can approximate these things and seem to have salvation by their approximations of these good works, thus missing actual salvation and knowledge of Christ.

Creation itself is not science, but neither is Evolution (for the same reasons). However, Creation predicts things that can be studied in the present (just like Evolution does). The things that Creation predicts, when tested, are found to be in accord with the entire, unchanging Bible, from which Creation models are derived. The purpose of the Creation models is to aggregate together a single picture of all the things the Bible says about the Universe. The purpose of the Evolution models is to prove freely changing supporting theories of certain unchanging theories of Evolution. The things that Evolution predicts, when they are tested and when patterns are looked for concerning those specific predictions, they sometimes do not pan out. Creation is evidenced by observation of the objects of Creation, and not by the scientifically repeatable, testable observations of the action of Creation, because Creation is no longer occurring. Like with the Evolutionist, the Creationist would have to go to when and where it happens in order to even plausibly have the opportunity to perform repeatable and falsifiable tests on the actions that are conjectured to cause the things we do observe. Even though we are all judged by our works, it's no good to try to do good works to be saved, because God will see your evil works, and, if you are saved, it's no good to worry that you haven't done enough good works (even though we are judged by our works), because God will see those good works we have done.

A common tactic that people have been taught to use is to ask questions to disprove you on the spot instead of to gain your knowledge through long thought.  Don't let them.

We know we are Christians if we confess Master Jesus and believe the tenets of the gospel (Romans 10:9, 10, 13 and 1 Corinthians 15:1-8). We know others are Christians if we hear them confess Master Jesus and if they say they believe the tenets of the gospel. Real Christian therapy or counseling is to be saved first (a Christian) by means of the salvation doctrine in the Bible (see 1 Corinthians 15:1-8 and Romans 10:9, 10, 13), and then to apply everything in Scripture, guided by the Holy Spirit.

From the secular point of view, God in Christian rehab (or any idol) is important as a buffer between trigger and drug and to give a sense of strength to overcome the addiction.  This strips Christ's good things and mechanically uses them - often outside even the full complement of His good things, as revealed in Scripture - as one component of a human philosophy designed to change behavior.  In it, the Church colludes with the World to subvert Christ, Himself, to attain some benefit from His good things. I am a concerned Christian who would like to know if you tell your patients that even fully successful treatment is meaningless without justification by confessing and believing, according to the Scriptural account of salvation doctrine (1 Corinthians 15:1-8 and Romans 10:9, 10, 13). Leverage technology and science to create modularized everything machines.  This is for individual security and for national security, because we can, even though at admittedly great expense, and because it's right.  There might have to be multiple types, geared toward different flexible groups of related functions.  For instance, the farming type would plant, reap and take care of animals (and wash the dishes and repair barn roofs, etc.).  The city type would not be able to produce food, but would provide safety, transportation, and they would support small businesses or pop-up businesses (and repair house roofs and wash the dishes, etc.).

Only with justification by Jesus Christ by rebirth through confession of Master Jesus and belief of the four tenets of the gospel (do Romans 10:9, 10, 13 due to believing 1 Corinthians 15:3-8) is any prayer heard by God and is not a blasphemous look-alike. Picture Christ in the foreground and love, happiness, food, singing, and all good things in the background in some celebratory pageant of the Christmas variety, but reversed so that Christ is not mostly left to the imagination as the cause of the things, but the things are mostly left to the imagination as gifts from That Man, our Master, Jesus Christ.

From my childhood, I have attempted to make people confront their own sin by pressing them hard about it.  I see now that this gives the impression and preaches the false gospel that says a person must seek their own goodness by their own way.  I have been enraged against my folly, but now God has calmed me to sanity, and I see it.  I know now as I knew then and have always known that He is my deliverance, but my flesh warred against me to confuse me in this terrible approach to preaching. If you want to protect your wife, don't let her manipulate you - it's exceedingly bad for her. Her pride, jealousy and the curse on our mother, Eve, causes wives - especially young wives, AND it can grow over time - in conjunction also with her sensitivity to others' needs to think she does know what her complex, strong husband of action needs (watch out! Sometimes Christians use the word "repent" to mean "feel sorry", such as "Repent for being happy about making Mamma mad the other day". This is not the meaning of repentance, dear sibling in our same Master and Savior Jesus Christ. Repentance means to stop doing something.  That's all it is. Your feelin.. thoughts! might still need to be changed.  Do that by reading the Bible, accepting it straight and sincere and then by doing it.  

The purposes of the existence of slums is greed and false evidence that equalization is needed.  The greed is allowed for the same reason that equalization really is needed, so that that second purpose of the existence of slums seems reasonable, and the reason that equalization is needed is the same reason when addressing the greed and when addressing the need for an excuse.  But the great problem of equalizing is artificially created so that the cause of it can be artificially suggested.  And building code does already apply to the whole city, after all.  The greed is the systemic thing, which is allowed for the sole reason that it can be achieved, but it could be achieved for the sole reason of the artifice -- so that a false cause can be named for it at the correct time, in order to falsely arrest that patsy of a cause.  It's revolution, all built on a lie. Popularity and money are two reasons discrimination between Church and World exists.  Discriminating between Christianity and otherwise must be based in God's Special Book, namely 1 Corinthians 15:1-8 and Romans 10:9, 10, and 13. After that great deliverance, we are new creatures and have been baptized in The Holy Spirit, Who raised our Master Jesus Christ from death. Church doesn't only belong together and believe in Jesus, but, like John MacArthur has pointed out, we are the society of those who are delivered. The whole Church has repented, because the called (ecclesia) from The World have turned toward Christ the Caller.  The assembly of the called ones have been called away from The World and toward Christ.  We have been summoned away from The World, and that summoning is irresistible.  Repentance in salvation is irrisistible. What about the type of repentance that occurs in the life of someone after being born again?  This type of repentance is a mark of salvation, because God makes the saved to gain wider separation from sin - by the end of their lives, even though there might be decades of seeming separation from God in that Christian.  This is sanctification, which is distinct from salvation.  Romans 10:10 makes the distinction with the words, "with the heart, man believes to righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made to salvation".  The belief in that verse is belief in the Resurrection of our Master Jesus Christ.  He was resurrected, ...

Categories are just useful along the way to determination of the specifics.  Judging based on category theories is misleading, because we have to look at the individual's behavior to judge right.

It's been said that churches exist within their social context.  Christ's worldwide Church has it's own culture, though.  Immediately, someone will say, probably thinking of Islam, that modern people are degraded by embracing ancient culture, and they will think they have won an argument against a biblical Christian culture by saying so.  But consider that ancient biblical culture would have rules about how to wear sandals and robes, similar to the Islamic woman's veil, but biblical cultural rules transcend time to immediately speak to us in the present time as it offers teaching about how we should treat each other, for two instances, by shunning the Christian who won't repent of any specific sin, and by walking circumspectly around The World, with gentleness and wisdom.  Women shouldn't have spiritual authority over a man, because father Adam was created first and because mother Eve was tricked into sin, while Adam was not tricked but did it at the behest of h...

The World is constantly pushing itself to conform to a situation where every type of person is increasingly fairly regarded from every corner of the government and the populace.  It's difficult to make so much provision, yet Christians are nominally hated for any mention of sin.  It's curious.  They don't want to consider that they have any need for the Savior, even though they tacitly recognize their own need to change themselves.  Their need to change is kept to a minimum of conformance due to learning something new, such as another person's point of view or experiences.  They also want to see God as someone like themselves, so they think He will overlook any wickedness they notice about themselves, especially if they try hard to repent of it.  But like Cain, who couldn't find real restitution in his own works and became charged enough with murder in his heart that he expressed it, even against his own brother, and then hardened himself to disregard it as...

Cessationism errs concerning residency.  Take a gift that's not controversial as evidence:  The Word of Knowledge.  Those who have it thank God as they see it happen to them, but they don't really break things down into cases.  It's not based on their own desire, per se, but they are glad when God allows them to know a thing.  Or take Helps as the example, seeing that no desire to help another Christian is based on the goodness of the Christian with the gift, but the desire and means to accomplish it all come from God, Who has all the glory of it and is the only praiseworthy person involved.  So it is with healing.  It never was the case that any Christian with that gift could heal every person, even if he wanted to.  But every person whom God wants to use a similarly gifted Christian to heal is healed.  The Christian is the conduit for the power that's expressed, whether in mind, body or spirit.  The Holy Spirit is resident in Christian...
