Jesus is Better than John, and His Death for Our Sins is Better than John's Social Reformation

John the Baptizer the Hebrew Priest made the radical choice to live in the wild, live like he's wild and to take a stand in his dress and food.  He preached in the wilderness to those who could not enter the temple.  He socially split away from the traditions of his peers, who were part of the rulership, and he is the ideal of social reformation by Jesus that Walter Rauschenbusch and others taught to the rich.  But Jesus' purpose was to die for our sins, not social reformation.  John the Baptist was not part of the New Testament, but he was the greatest man born of women, below the lowest of those in the New Covenant, which God has set with in humanity whom He has called due to Jesus' death for our sins.

John the Baptist was a radical social reformer.

Jesus the Messiah, our Master, has died for our sins, which is infinitely better!
