Descriptions of a Useful World-View - Lord Willing, We Will Thrive By True Perception and Righteous Action
Take the bottom-up view. We have workers. We have food production. We have truckers and trucks. And we have technology and the electricity to power it, for now. Money is meta for work and trade - it's no end in itself. So we shouldn't be ruled by money, especially if we start right now to rethink and to restructure our local and state-wide societies in America. Half the country wants one thing and the other half another, and in Indiana, we want to survive. We're fat - we could do it. We're also keepers of some Christian reality, which much of the World is losing; we should be as independent from the federal government as we can be. Maybe Ohio will trade with us. Let's stretch out to call on the name of the Master Jesus first and foremost, and then we can ask for His blessing. Then we'll try to restructure: as long as workers can keep producing that food and those buildings, and as long as we leverage our technology to create intensely efficient systems, we might even thrive! And God bless all His own, even as the World crumbles - maybe we can have an influence from here on the Christians in China. Lord willing, we shall, to His glory and to our great gladness, indeed.
From now until the end of our easy access to it, technological prowess seems like something we can go to at any time, but of course that's a fiction that relies on our large-scale power production and on the police who punish the criminals who would take the means of production, transport and commerce from us. We need compact designs. Is it totally impossible for a company to gather every possible resource to feed itself as it delivers to the populace those things necessary for living - food, clothing and shelter - and those things that make us thrive - transportation, education, social gatherings, entertainment, and the means of creating new things? It'll take a society that values life in the first place. And it'll take a redesign of our processes and a new perspective on what money is and how it's used. Whatever the system is called, we could live and thrive under the shelter of The Messiah Jesus, Master of Reality. With God, all things are possible, and without Him, destruction by our own hands is inevitable - even by the hands of those who would try to organize our lives by the willpower of their own hands, desires and minds.
POLICE
The Police cannot give up their lawfulness and allow criminals to take over. They are doing so to some extent now, due to their adherence to certain false authorities that seem to bind their hands from doing their jobs more efficiently, with judges and prosecutors conspiring. If everyone involved would hold each other accountable to the same law, consistently, then the whole system would be healed to useful work in maintaining freedom from crime.
MONEY
Money is not an end in itself to have and to hold onto, but it is a renewable resource that powers the machinery within societies.
TECHNOLOGY
The key idea is that technology could make a system that runs without the same level of technology ongoing. We can use electrical machinery to create machines that are more complex than our ancestors could have designed out of cogs and levers and organizational principles. Highest quality plastic-concrete mixtures could contain delicate systems for many generations without the need of maintaining them, especially when micro-factories that maintain themselves and that build replacement parts for their own structures are embedded within the walls of these containers which house other technologies that could benefit from such contained maintenance. It's what God did with DNA and proteins, after all, and we would be wise to follow the pattern. Oh, the World wants to just rip up actual DNA and proteins in some cheap way of fabricating useful devices out of biology directly, but there's a better way to build up with knowledge, even when our systems of circuitries and sewage pipes are gross by comparison. Biology uses chemical reactions that are ultimately powered by light, and we can use other forces to power our self-contained tech, like gigantic, machined, solid-state electromagnets. If we use a lot of energy at the beginning, can we create a system of low energy mechanisms which are useful for survival over a long period of time?
COMPANIES
When the bottom line is money, the company is corrupted to be as least useful as it can be while performing the main goal. When the bottom line has been the private desire of the CEO, companies have often been subverted to powerful machines of harm. Companies - if they are worked well and the people who work them want it to be so - can be structures that are highly useful to compact manual human work into the form of power that could be leveraged to help people very much.
Let God be true and every human a liar. Do right, and thrive, but don't think that all your ability to help yourself in this life is enough to be saved from ultimate punishment for your sins. If you hear His voice, believe Jesus died for our sins like the Bible says He did, and then He was buried, and then God raised Him from the dead just like the Bible says He did, and then He was seen afterward by many witnesses who could be questioned later on the matter, and - believing these things - call on the name of the Master to be saved from that ultimate punishment of death by verbally confessing Master Jesus, and then you will be saved from it to God, who is the only source of life and right living that exists and our Maker. He allows us to make things ourselves, and we see in the physical world what corruption means to our ability to use our natural proclivities to make the things we need to survive and to thrive. Rejecting God's planned redemption of us is the ultimate corruption. While we could help ourselves in the physical realm, though we do not, we can not help ourselves in the more fundamental ways of the spirit and of the soul, though we apply our own religions and psychologies.
