The Tragedy of Human Philosophy Concerning So-Called Gender Roles

"..implacable, unmerciful.."; "..even their women change.."

The corruption of the sinful body makes the female not more sinful but more terrible when she sins, because it corrupts a greater potential for the insight that comes from a deeper soulish reality than men naturally enjoy.  Likewise, the bullish action he can affect through his numbness to those same soulish traits, which are so beautiful in women and children, is stolen by the feminization of the male.  In Christ, there is not male and female, but both can be saved by the same gospel; however, we are still male and female, with all the attendant realities which exist whether or not we care to cultivate them or whether or not we attempt to invert them, knowing them so precisely to do so, like a greedy and insolent thief who sees what the other has and desires it only because the other has it.

Adam was told directly by God, yet sinned on purpose and with full knowledge.  Eve was not told by God directly, but Adam told her, and she was tricked and sinned.

The man is tempted to give up the responsibility of his natural authority, and the woman is tempted to dominate her husband through trickery, even though she does not have the natural ability to lead men.  Let the older women teach the younger women to help their husbands in a way that is equivalent to those they choose to marry or to have no familial authority.

Both men and women have practicality and sentimentality.  The woman can and should work just like the men (Proverbs 31), and, just like the men, they should be perfected in holiness and in godliness.
