God Calls and Saves All Who Are Being Saved - Freedom of Choice is Mundane, Not Spiritual

Concerning freewill or freedom of choice, I can't find its reference in the Bible to salvation, though I've heard sermonizing about such a connection, which says that if God didn't give me freedom to choose Him, then I'd have reason to complain that He makes me get saved or makes me to not get saved.  But the Bible doesn't say that we choose Him, but He chooses us when He calls us (along with predestinating us) who are being saved.  So, I think some controversy and debate occurred in the past about this freedom of choice, but I don't see any basis for it in the Bible.  In fact, I see the opposite concept, that God calls us and we simply don't refuse Him, and that Jesus didn't lose any whom the Father gave to Him.
