My General Concern for the Church

Whenever I enter a church, no one ever asks me if I believe the basic gospel message or confess Master Jesus.  They assume that life-building exercises will eventually cause whoever wants to be saved to privately ask the pastor what must be done for salvation, or else they assume that the most casual expression of interest in Jesus is salvation, and some think we can fall away from salvation and come back based on our will-worship in keeping from consciously sinning or that our consent to call ourselves Christians will save us.  But there is a definite biblical way to be saved and there is a definite separation between the Church and the World (believing 1 Corinthians 15:1-8 and doing Romans 10:9, 10, 13).  And once the meeting house is cleansed of the World, we can move on to understand and practice Church disciple and shunning on the one hand and eternal security of salvation on the other.
