The Issues of the Day are Largely a Red Herring
Maybe you can help me understand our goal in speaking against worldview particulars: are we speaking to the World that they should not do evil or to the Church that they should know why they shouldn't do evil? In the case of the World, they must do evil (Romans 6:20, Romans 8:7), and in the case of the Church, we should follow God for love's sake according to the Spirit that works life in us through Christ Jesus our Master, and not because we can explain why evil is harmful in every particular case. I can see how it's useful to learn even every particular case that comes into the mind of members of Christ's Church, even by way of the World's newspapers and TV shows, but let's be careful to not suggest that they must be answered either for the World, which cannot respond to mental reasoning due to its spiritual death, or the Church that has a greater cause for doing right (especially as we believe and contemplate the Resurrection, as per Romans 10:9b-10:10a). Is there a reason left to go from one to the next of these worldview rollercoaster pitches? Let's be firmly entrenched in the solidity of the same Master Jesus Christ and tell the World about Him - how He became sin for us even though He never sinned in order to die for our sins just like the Bible says, and then He was buried, and then God raised Him from the dead just like the Bible prophesied and recorded, and then He was seen by Peter and the Disciples, then by over 500 brothers at one time, most of whom were still alive when Paul wrote to the Corinthians congregation this formulation of the gospel that Paul learned, and then Jesus was seen by James and the Apostles and Paul, and that believing these things, we call on the name of the Master to be saved by verbally confessing Master Jesus (1 Corinthians 15:1-8; Romans 10:9, 10, 13). I'm not saying that we shouldn't talk about issues, but the way we talk about them, mixed with the almost complete absence of the gospel, is a fear-mongering weakness because it ignores the Great Commission; salvation is the answer to LGBTQ+; salvation is the answer to immorality and strange systemic thefts and communistic teaching of children and all of these issues. Master Jesus Christ will change us to be more sane and righteous if we believe those 4 things and do that 1 thing and are justified in the sight of God. His Holy Spirit is powerful in all these issues!
