Jesus Does Not Fit the Definition of Higher Power as Given in Either Celebrate Recovery or the Original 12-Steps Program

Celebrate Recovery says that Jesus is their Higher Power as adapted from the 12 steps (which was really ripped out the Bible by atheists, who excised Jesus from it in the first place).  Jesus does not fit that part of the definition of "Higher Power" where everyone has their own Higher Power of their choosing, because Jesus is in fact everyone's Higher Power whether they choose Him or not, because He is the King of the entire Universe.  Since we know that the definition of "Higher Power" includes the concept that we pick, then when we all pick Jesus, we are demeaning Him by shoehorning Him into that smaller definition, and we change our own concept of Him in subtle ways but ways we firmly believe.

Even for someone who has never known a single fact about the 12-Steps or the Blue Book or the history of the 12-Steps program, those people might hear someone within Celebrate Recovery mention this faulty definition by saying, "Jesus is our Higher Power even though other people have different Higher Powers", and then that person is exposed to the concept of this faulty definition of the phrase by contact with Celebrate Recovery, and so Celebrate Recovery should be torn down and re-based on the Bible without the structure developed into the 12-Steps, which is exactly what those atheists knew had to be done when they created the 12-Steps in the first place by ripping them out of the Bible without taking along Christ and transferring pieces from the Bible into their system which Celebrate Recovery copied.

The system as reconstituted into Celebrate Recovery or any other such system is based on a World system which is so obviously evil as to have ripped and twisted Scripture in the first place for its creation.  Just read the Bible and preach all it's parts with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.  You'll find the correct formulation only with God; Worldly systems DO look very similar to God's Word insofar as they have internal consistency and usefulness; Antichrist IS a *look-alike* Christ.  So read the Bible - God's Special Book, His Holy Bible, His love letter to humanity - directly and trust The Holy Spirit, Himself, to directly counsel you first and foremost before any table-gathers of other Christians who also rely on Him first in their daily practice as they read to understand and implement every single thing they read in the Bible.  That's the Christian Program, and it works not to deceive like psychological reasoning and fear that keeps us from trying to tell the fallen Worldling what they need to know to be saved.

The Higher Power of Celebrate Recovery defines Christ differently than Christ is.

 In her article, "6 reasons 1 Timothy 2:12 is not as clear as it seems" (https://margmowczko.com/1-timothy-212-not-as-clear/), Marg Mowczko lists 6 reasons to bring in a non-traditional interpretation to that passage.  I will go over them here.  Here's the verse for reference: "But I do not allow a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man, but to remain quiet." I had another dream driven by the influence of the special forces demon. I ignored the game at first.  It was a youngster's game - mainly frivolous.  But there was a package of materials involved.  I was asked to do a favor - no, it wasn't playing the game, but it would help them if it allowed the mostly-numb peeling of my finger with the knife-like instrument. I've heard the concept that if we Christians merely talk about our problems, then we give them credence.  I've heard a message that David glorified God, so don't use your tongue to talk about your problems.  That message is psychologically based instead of biblically based.  When we talk about our problems with defeat, then we fall into the trap defined by that psychological description, but merely talking about it doesn't mean we are talking about it in defeat.  It's useful and right to talk about our problems in order to get power over them by seeing the truth about their real dimensions.  If any Christian has been deluded by gender dysphoria, they should be told good things about God's love of whom He created, in the way He created them.
