How to Know and Spread the Gospel in Simple Terms - Suitable for the Adolescent and Many Older Christians
Memorize, understand and tell people 1 Corinthians 15:3-8 and Romans 10:9, 10 and verse 13. Death comes from sin. Physical death is a metaphor of spiritual death, which is separation from God who gives us good things, even sunshine and food and ..air and our lives. That life will go away when we die and it's really gone now in the deeper way, because we are sinners due to the sin of our first father, Adam. God knew our situation, so He sent His only natural or sired Son to Earth. Jesus never sinned, so He never would die, because death comes from sin, but He was murdered by the authorities of the world. Now, there's an old statement in the Bible that says that anyone who hangs on a tree is cursed (and it means what it really means - it doesn't mean climbing a tree or something like that makes a curse), and so we obviously know Jesus was made a curse, because He was hung on a cross to die. When Jesus died as a human who never sinned, He fulfilled God's Law. He was buried and God raised Him from the dead on the third day, just like the Bible prophesied beforehand and recorded afterward in the New Testament. Then many people saw Him after He was raised, including His close disciples and hundreds of His followers who were still alive later when Paul wrote this good news that He was taught to the Corinthians (1 Corinthians 15:1-2). If you believe these things, then if you call on the name of the Lord to save you by confessing with your mouth "Master Jesus", then you will be saved. Confessing means both admitting that He is the Master and identifying yourself in a relationship with Him as your Master. The Bible says that whoever believes these things about what He did for us and God's reaction to His Son's good work that God showed in raising Him back from the dead (I count 4 separate tenets of this salvation doctrine that Paul learned and then taught for the whole Church), and if you've called on His name by verbally confessing Master Jesus, then you can be assured and certain and confident that He saves you, even when you see your body sinning or remember your old sins. You will start to behave better as you believe on and think about the Resurrection, like Romans 10:9b and 10:10a says. Look at those two passages from the top of this message and understand and believe and tell them to others. That's spreading the gospel! Be aware that false gospels will compete, but they are not Christian, like just loving each other or other things that sound good, but it's about Christ's work that He loved His enemies by doing so whoever wants to can come to Him and have life forever instead of conscious, horrible death in Hell and then in the Lake of Fire after they're judged at the end of the Millennial Reign of Christ, but that's another story.
