To a Self-Justified, Fearful Sibling

The love we show is the evidence that we do have faith in Christ to save us.  Our knowledge of His gift makes us more loving.  Our knowledge of the Resurrection brings us to right works, because the Spirit who raised Christ teaches us righteousness, and we see that life goes hand in hand with righteousness.  When we believe, that is repentance from our old self to acceptance of Him, Who makes us a new self.  When we have believed, The Holy Spirit makes us a different creature, and we do produce fruit (automatically, because it's our new nature to do so) and *HE* *causes* us to persist.  If we didn't persist (believing the 4 tenets of the gospel), it's *only* because we didn't sincerely believe it in the first place and call on Master Jesus name, verbally confessing Him in the first place.  Paul does NOT warn Christians that "persistent" (<-- WARNING: traditionally added word to seem to ease the doublemindedness of misinterpretation) sin steals our salvation!  Paul teaches that since we won't have sin in Heaven, then we should not desire it now.  Master Jesus knows who are His own.  Let it all be done as God wills it in Jesus' name to *His* glory (and to our great gladness!).
