To a Self-Justified, Fearful Sibling

The love we show is the evidence that we do have faith in Christ to save us.  Our knowledge of His gift makes us more loving.  Our knowledge of the Resurrection brings us to right works, because the Spirit who raised Christ teaches us righteousness, and we see that life goes hand in hand with righteousness.  When we believe, that is repentance from our old self to acceptance of Him, Who makes us a new self.  When we have believed, The Holy Spirit makes us a different creature, and we do produce fruit (automatically, because it's our new nature to do so) and *HE* *causes* us to persist.  If we didn't persist (believing the 4 tenets of the gospel), it's *only* because we didn't sincerely believe it in the first place and call on Master Jesus name, verbally confessing Him in the first place.  Paul does NOT warn Christians that "persistent" (<-- WARNING: traditionally added word to seem to ease the doublemindedness of misinterpretation) sin steals our salvat...

An Answer about Transgenderism Vs. Hermaphroditism

Did I falsely claim that being transgender is a sin?  It was no falsehood. You can see that it's different from being biologically hermaphroditic, and that really isn't a sin, obviously, but it's the way God allowed genetic decay, which is due to Adam's sin to form that hermaphrodite; perhaps it would not be sinful for a hermaphrodite to pick a sex.  Hermaphroditic formation in the womb is not the topic here.  Effeminacy is.  I gave you a verse that says that's a sin.  Attempt to change it at your peril of being against God, but allow Him to change your hard heart to hear what others are really saying, because your bitterness is hard, and it misleads your perceptions.  Re-read what I did write, when I explained the difference between what you keep putting together, and read that Bible verse for yourself (when you find it) and its context.  Don't teach others to accept perversion just so your flesh can *seem* to be acceptable.  It is true love that...

The Use of Trickery with Words

"..is not manipulative or coercive because the possibility of a person choosing differently is not closed down." Does the definition of "manipulation" include a requirement that potential, options or choices are blocked?  It's like a changing definition: if a person does realize they were told something different than it was formulated to appear, then they could potentially, optionally choose to follow the actual meaning of the words employed, like "manipulative" in the preceding quote, which was taken from an article about the development and political implementation of behavioral science (for instance, through nudges and opt-out frameworks) ("Invisible Manipulators of Your Mind" by Tamsin Shaw, The New York Review of Books, https://getpocket.com/explore/item/invisible-manipulators-of-your-mind). It's supposedly for our own good, the way we want things, as an aid to battle our inherent laziness, but that's just a cover when such tri...

A Top-Tier and Fundamental Split in the Church

There is a tragic split in the Church that's based on the repentance that comes with the confession of Master Jesus.  One says that the repentance is the confession and the other part of the Church says that turning from active indulgence in the flesh through the sojourn on Earth is that repentance!  These two conceptions cannot both be true. On the one hand, Christ has freely forgiven us, but on the wrong hand, we do work for our own salvation with semantic covers to assuage our guilt of wrongly confusing it with working out our own salvation!  After all, when we Christians sin, it is not mere slippage due to the power of our flesh - we have been given power of it! - but it is purposeful indulgence of our flesh, which cannot be the "repentance" we need to survive.  Our acknowledgement - with sincere belief - that Christ's death was purposefully for the atonement of our sins and that He was buried, Resurrected and seen afterward, all according to the prophecies befor...

A Special Forces Demon Attack in a Dream

I had another dream driven by the influence of the special forces demon. I ignored the game at first.  It was a youngster's game - mainly frivolous.  But there was a package of materials involved.  I was asked to do a favor - no, it wasn't playing the game, but it would help them if it allowed the mostly-numb peeling of my finger with the knife-like instrument. Afterward, I went up into the treehouse, where the other person and a large (2 or 3 foot) squirrel was going to play the game, and I was told that I could be in there because I was trusted now that I had done the thing.  Suddenly, they were playing the game with me, peeling my finger with only a little discomfort with the implement even though I didn't want to actually "play the game", I was just willing to help the other outside of playing it.  But I was playing it the whole time. I ran away, and I was quickly chased!  I turned in my running, and I spoke against them in the name of Master Jesus Chri...

Grace is Not Anti-All-Law

Being free from the Old Testament Law is not to be free from all duty, all duty to God, or all of God's Law.  It is to be free from the Old Testament, written ordinances of The Law.  Christians, on the other hand, are bound to the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:2). Antinomianism (and libertinism) heretically disregards all law, to the end that any duty is seen as sinful!  Legalism is surely as sinful as antinomianism!  We could not be saved by following the written ordinances of the Old Testament, but we cannot be sanctified without following all of God's will for us that we know by the Bible and by obeying the Word of God that is urged upon our consciences by The Holy Spirit! If you mainly relate to God by proclaiming freedom from Law, then you are bound to Law in a reverse way, because you define Christ-likeness in terms of Law!  Be set free from the heresies of antinomianism and legalism by relating to Christ across the gamut of positions...

Do Not be Subverted by Strange Love in Congealing Groups, Dear Church

When you connect yourself to someone else in a bond of love, you become concerned with what they believe about you.  You tend to cause them to conform to you if you're a leader type or you conform to them if you're a follower type, but, either way, you tend to come together with those you love, and this is a good mechanism, and it is right that Christians should do so.  What happens when Christians make love bonds with Satanists or otherwise those in the World is that we compromise ourselves to them or they try to do the impossible by changing themselves to mimic your Christian behavior. Mixing groups together is not right!  From trivial differences (I like ham, I hate ham, I hate meat) to the profound ones, we hurt each other by forcing everyone to some undefined middle-ground, washing out the beautiful texture of humanity along with the ugly texture, which actual ugliness cannot really become beautiful anyways.  We become stymied! Extreme compromise is only for the...

The Useful Dynamic of Shunning to Help the Suffering Christian

Why do we shun or ex-communicate Christians who indulge in sin even after they are told, told with witnesses and told in front of the congregation?  If I extremely excoriate something that you are holding onto - your flesh in the case of unrepentant sin - then, eventually, you are going to try to distance yourself from it.  Importantly, this works whether your mind understands your hold on the thing or not.  Even if your guts or your subconscious is holding onto the thing, you will be driven from it.  Indeed, the battering excoriation will possibly slowly but eventually cause your mind to see a gap between you and it, enabling your mind to see how to let go of it. Shunning helps the Christian who is suffering under the domination of their flesh.  God has that Christian and will not allow him to be too hurt by the shunning - even if that Christian dies - but will help him by allowing Satan to buffet the body, like the Bible says, so the spirit can be saved.

Once Saved, Always Saved

Once saved, always saved is a human cliche, but it's meaning is center-line Pauline, and it's exactly what the Bible teaches.  Does Christ save us, or do we use Christ's work as part of a multi-faceted plan to save ourselves?  We cannot save ourselves.  We repent in general when we have turned from our old life and gotten new life, becoming a new creature and baptized in The Holy Spirit, when we follow the simple, revealed biblical mandate for salvation.   Except for Christ, Himself, no human being can fully repent of every sin or reach a state of sinless perfection. If they could, they'd have to have The Holy Spirit to help them do it, but The Holy Spirit is not given to the World, but only to Christians, and so, even if sinless perfection could be achieved, it would be achieved by people who were already Christians.  Sanctification is not a cause of salvation.  Instead of OCD, trust 1 Corinthians 15:1-8 and Romans 10:9, 10, and 13.  Then let God ...

On the Strange State of Acting with Evidence-Based Authority in The United States

On the Strange State of Acting with Evidence-Based Authority in The United States In general: Police scrape the bottom of the evidence barrel by attempting to uncover anything that can be seen on the surface as a suspects telling a lie. But, it should not be: Matthew 5:34-37 - "But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne: Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King. Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black. But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil." Asking the same, repeated questions is like taking an oath - it's wildly weighted to giving false positives.  If you wear someone down, they truly might reveal what they wanted to hide, but those who don't want to hide might be caught up in the semantic trickery that works in the mind of the questioner.  Likewise, an oat...

What True Unrepentance Is

The sinning Christian (if God knows he is a Christian) has God's seed within himself, even as he sins.  He has turned toward Christ and does stand in belief (if God knows he was ever a Christian).  This sinning Christian has repented.  Only a lack of verbal confession (or whatever your communicative ability allows) due to a disbelief in the tenets of the gospel is unrepentance.

Endlessly Possess in the Godly Way

It's possible that always looking for the next material present or possession has been made such a large focus in the World in order to pervert one's looking for the next thing from God for one's self inside one's being.  Materialism is meant by the World to replace Spirituality - they look similar in their mental models and they have a similar feeling of expectation and growth.

Even Christians Who Highlight Salvation Doctrine Continue to Miss and Change Necessary Biblical Conditions

Salvation involves the redemption of the whole man, and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, who by His own blood obtained eternal redemption for the believer. In its broadest sense salvation includes regeneration, justification, sanctification, and glorification. There is no salvation apart from personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord. A. Regeneration, or the new birth, is a work of God's grace whereby believers become new creatures in Christ Jesus. It is a change of heart wrought by the Holy Spirit through conviction of sin, to which the sinner responds in repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Repentance and faith are inseparable experiences of grace. Repentance is a genuine turning from sin toward God. Faith is the acceptance of Jesus Christ and commitment of the entire personality to Him as Lord and Savior. B. Justification is God's gracious and full acquittal upon principles of His righteousness of all sinners who repent a...

An Adulterated Version of The Second Coming of Christ

From the Comments at https://www.ucg.org/the-good-news/seven-prophecies-that-must-be-fulfilled-before-jesus-christs-return Below are some comments taken from a webpage of United Church of God - a heterodox denomination.  Notice the weird ideas these people openly communicate to each other.  These ideas will probably be promoted even more in the future.  Which Scripture passages defend against them? 1a) "Jesus is secretly here as a plain man who strives for nothing but a lack of celebrity.  The passage about him being seen upon his return like a lightening bolt is a metaphor.  Ignore these troubled times, because real reality is 'love everyone's neighbor, worldwide' in order to create your own hope for humanity.  Separating between people is evil, based on the mind and emotions that we don't need anymore and are growing out of." 1b) Notice that Jeanette #1 gives pushback about Jesus' humanity, and she says He is beyond humanity. 1c1) "'Unconditiona...

Direct and Strong Communication is Structural Support for My Soul

There is an idea that states we should not push into other Christians with our own thoughts too much, because, the idea proceeds, we are inundated by ideas already, and it's a relief not to be. We inundate ourselves, though.  Hardly anyone comes up these days to strong declarations in my face.  I wanted them to, especially as I was growing up, but I found mainly disregard or generalities.  Where's the specific teaching about many things and the strong teaching about some important things that speak directly to my problems?  If they are not noticeable to others, it might be that others don't peer at me with their love in the first place!  If they are seen by others, then why don't they tell me the definite answers that they do know?  Is it a difficulty speaking and framing information with words?  That's just a technical problem, but don't try at all!  It pains my deep heart. We go to many inundations of information onto ourselves, but others don't...

I Thank My Master Jesus Christ for My Free Expression

My expressions are my own.  My expressions are my own!  And I love not being held to a backbone of duty and form.  Thank You, Lord!

The Present Good Works Model Versus Following Christ According to the Scriptures

Giving someone a care package or setting up a facility to school children is not you calling them to God.  God calls to Himself all whom He predestined before the foundation of the world.  Doing good works to people can even become evil when it seems to be the end of the matter.  Good works are a tool.  God draws people to Himself by His goodness.  We, God's hands and feet on Earth, in fact do good things to people - especially to those who are in God's household - and the whole World sees it and is drawn when God sparks Himself in the mind of the heart that is drawn. Planting churches due to poverty is hideous when the cause of the church planting is not to tell people the good news about the guilt of sin being shifted off of the person who calls on the name of the Master Jesus Christ due to their belief that His death is effective to save (and He was buried, Resurrected and witnessed afterward by many witnesses), so that they can talk to God freely now and be ...

Violence Suppresses the Violent Mind

Human anger does not accomplish what the user of it desires; it is ineffective.

Repentance is a Homonym

Repentance is necessary for salvation.  Continuing to be an axe murderer after salvation is not a lack of repentance by this definition.  We must repent of our sins to grow in grace.  Repentance is not necessary for salvation by this definition.  The word "repentance" has one general meaning, but it is used as a homonym of itself in these separate situations.  We must turn toward Christ and away from our flesh to be saved.  We do that by believing the tenets of the gospel as given in 1 Corinthians 15:3-8 and by calling on the name of the Master by verbally confessing Master Jesus in response to believing those things.  After we do, we no longer practice sin, but our flesh still does (Romans 7).  We must then turn away from our sin in a colloquial way of speaking, but we are really cleaning our minds of the memory of sin.  If we try to like it, we have to harden our hearts and burn out our consciences, which hurts us terribly.  This is di...

Christians Know Good and Do Right Without an Empathic Understanding of Wickedness

Subverting faith by an external inundation of evil is a form of Balaam's error, and Scripture warns us against that in Jude as well as in The Old Testament. Today's atmosphere habitually sees the point of view of the vile person, and we are deeply encouraged by The World to deeply understand even the wicked as we are swept along with this advice to understand our neighbor for good reasons. Christians do right to everyone out of a more external reasoning, based on love of God, self and neighbor, and we do not need a deep empathic visualization of their wretched souls to know it, because we already know our own wretched souls.  Constantly enduring their evil is something that makes us strong, but it is a subversion, indeed, to be forced to mentally adopt their point of view to make decisions about doing good to them - we do that, regardless of our understanding! Trying to gain an empathic understanding of wickedness, we both have the opportunity to uncover the wickedness and the ...

The Church, The World, The Gospel and Politics

Prayer opening the House of Representatives is to generic God not mentioning Master Jesus Christ but in the style of a Christian prayer.  There's a lot of bad mixing of The Church and The World. See the position taken in a petition from Liberty University against the associated think tank, Falkirk Center, where it says, "The mission for the Church is not to wage war on the ‘cultural battlefield,’ but to make disciples and to build one another up", and, "associating any politician or political movement with Christianity bastardizes the Gospel of Jesus Christ." So, what's the answer?  Christians are supposed to call people out of the culture and build each other up, and we should not associate a particular political movement with Christianity or any politician (except for politicians who are outspoken for Christ).  We are to do in the realm of politics and in culture the same things we are to do in general, and that is to walk circumspectly around The World, w...
