Internal and External Evil are Both Due to False Beliefs

When internal evil equals external evil, there is no difference, regardless of how stoicism and a strong-will keeps that evil from being seen.  There is a difference, with internal and external evil, if some competing good is believed. Belief can be had, for the reverse instance, that there is nothing inherently wrong - but, perhaps, only situationally wrong - with punching someone because they irritate your sense of propriety.  That belief causes the punch in a dark alley when it would disallow it in front of a boss.  However, a belief in God's good things would hold back the punch in an alley, while delivering it in front of the boss when it is due to some good cause (as opposed to the irritation concerning proprieties), even though the boss would be equally disdainful of seeing it in both cases.  Belief about goodness is better than belief we create ourselves or which comes from human philosophy.  It is stronger, and it's purity results in more even applicati...

On the Lack of a Social Contract

We don't have a social contract.  A contract is a contract; there's a reason contracts are written with excruciating detail.  You're thinking of morality, or ethics, as some have absurdly reduced it to, and that's not between me and you or you and the wider "community", but it's between you and God!  If you want to shoot me in the face right now just because you want to, go ahead, if your conscience can stand it!  But, if you do, you'll have bigger problems than I have with a face full of lead.  We don't owe each other anything due to a vague euphemism, but we owe each other very much, indeed, due to God's Law.  Now, we can't live up to His written Law - the ancient Israelites proved that - and the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus is only available to born again, converted, justified Christians.  But even modern day Pagans, Satanists, Atheists and Materialists have the conscience God gives or does not give in the case of those who ...

Won't Hard Proof Make Me Accept Christ?

If I’m shown incontrovertible proof of God’s existence, won’t I be forced to believe on Master Jesus Christ His Son as bringing me salvation from my sin and life with God by His death and His Resurrection? No. A selection of humanity WAS shown incontrovertible proof in the form of many resurrections, including the Son of God. Furthermore, the resurrection of Lazarus happened before Jesus died, so it was seen by both people even before Christ's Resurrection. Of the people who witnessed all those resurrections, most rejected the evidence of those resurrections when God gave it. Matthew 16:4 records Jesus' statement about this, "A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign shall be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. And he left them, and departed". Jonah was dead and raised back to life. This is your evidence, but it won't force you to believe in God or, if you believe He exists, to trust Him enough to call on His name, Master Je...

Unrepentant Sin

It's not that allowing your flesh to sin until the day you die is so much the evidence of unregeneracy, but it is that the regenerate Christian's desire is for Christ, which includes His commands.  The Father's will is that we believe in Christ, and it is possible to believe in Christ in that way while engaging in a warfare with your flesh that seems for a time to beat you.  The struggle is precisely to overcome the flesh -- the engagement is the evidence of regeneracy, not the winning, although, given time, winning is inevitable, and Christ, Himself, will cause all His own to finally win upon receipt of a new body, when we see Him as He is.  No Christian is in danger of being shut out of heaven due to being a murderer, because, at the time of entering, that murder that was in some Christians will have been excised by the transformation of the flesh into a body like Christ has. We do follow the commands of Christ as well as we are currently strong enough to do, and we fol...

Thanks to Master Jesus for Gathering His Own Group Out of the World

The World abuses the very structure of groupings to its own death-end. "Church" is a non-technical word meaning "assembly", "congregation" .. or, like Critical Theory likes to use, "group". Christ gathers His group, and He separates us out of the World. Worship Him with thanks for that!

Succession of Emotions by Jesus' Disciples on Resurrection Day

Succession of Emotions by Jesus' Disciples on Resurrection Day (80-134, "Eyewitnesses to the Resurrection", John MacArthur) (Matthew 28:1-10) Sympathy - bringing spices for His body Fear - He is gone Joy - He is risen! Worship - He is here, seen on the road. They held Him by the feet, and they worshiped Him! Hope - Go to see Him at Galilee

Confused Christians Must Look at Christ and Smile

Should The Church refuse the sugary part of the poisoned pill of political progression toward a governmental system that will eventually allow the Antichrist to emerge on the world stage?  After all, love definitely requires pity for the disabled and equity for all, regardless of stupid skin colorings.  On the other hand, we could love our neighbor without funding worldwide baby-murder in the name of women's health, and unifying governments under the UN's delicate, violent, and stacked insanity would be a mistake.  So, we have only good and evil, and our Master Jesus Christ's mind, which we learn by The Holy Spirit's guidance and our prayerful reading of Scripture, is enough to make us tell the difference.  There is a delusion at work in The World, dear Church, but we can see through it as we look toward God.  Don't keep looking at the things you've been told in The World without washing them out, like a gold dust panner, with Scripture, and be healthy as you ye...

Biblical Evidence Against the Bribery of The Social Gospel

Isaiah 26:10 is evidence against The Social Gospel.  Even though righteousness is poured out on the wicked in a land of righteousness, the wicked will not turn from their iniquities and heed God.  It's just the way it is, so stop trying to bribe The World into becoming The Church by feeding them and by telling them how to overcome their addictions.  Teach the whole World salvation doctrine instead, and as many as God has known will turn from The World to become parts of The Church then. "Let favor be showed to the wicked, yet he will not learn righteousness. In the land of uprightness he will deal unjustly and will not behold the majesty of YHWH" (Isaiah 26:10).

Owned by God

Individualistic expressions against being classed as an enslaved thing has its place in rejecting the ownership of us by others who are like us, but it subtly undermines the reality that we are vessels that God has made, and we are things that belong to He Who created us. We want God to enslave us, else we are not His, and that's a fearful, undesirable position for any human being!

Contentedly and Rationally Appraoch Foreign and Discarded Systems for Viable Mechanisms

Not looking or thinking or acting above your station seems like a cruel control device to the modern sensibility, but it did help people learn some viable craft or service with which they could maintain employment.  Human systems are always flawed by human sin-corruption, and the modern sensibility overlooks modern enslavement even as it discards rational mechanisms like this one in a bid to find some hitherto unknown ultimate freedom.  But think: even if robots harvested and mined and built and pampered, we would just degrade in a morass of insane pain sitting there doing nothing.  No human system will redeem us or save us or make our lives wonderful, because we burn away our ability to enjoy, even if we're on drugs.  Only Christ's redemptive salvation is ultimately helpful.  So, let's be content to use the best parts of whatever systems we can devise, and let's stop hating each other for suggesting the use of some foreign mechanism from either some previously ...

Healing the Split in the Church Concerning Lordship Salvation

The Church is split over the Lordship of our Lord Jesus Christ. On the one hand, a subjective test of just how much fruit a Christian has produced (often misdefining fruit from "love, joy, peace, etc." to "giving, going to church, praying, reading the Bible, etc."), and on the other hand, a conviction that any thought of obedience is identical with basing salvation on works, and on both these hands, we find error. Salvation is one thing.  God produces fruit in us (and not we ourselves, per se, though we certainly submit to His production of it in us).  We yearn toward God the best we want to, and we pick up as much of the yearning of the preacher that we desire, and this sets our level of involvement in our God's kingdom.  Even the least Christian has already, by the definition of salvation doctrine, already demonstrated enough yearning toward Him to qualify for salvation.  Fruit inspectors need to know that their level of acceptibility is way beyond God's m...
